Telematics India 2014 offered a range of solutions

Telematics is growing in India rapidly. Despite misgivings about utility of GPS and Sensors, more and more companies are installing and working out processes to make it successful.

WebXpress participated in CEMAT Exhibition, An International Trade Fair for
Materials Handling / Intralogistics, Storage Systems, Warehousing and Logistic Services.

The Exhibition provided a common platform for all the organizations related to warehousing & MHE manufacturing to showcase the innovations done by them and contribution made to the growth of Indian Intra-logistics & Warehousing.

TIMSR Students get a Reality Check of Logistics in India

WebXpress conducted a Seminar and Workshop on Warehouse Management System at Thakur Institute on Management Studies and Research, Mumbai on September 28th, 2013.

Session started with the Seminar focussing on the Indian Transportation & logistics Industry followed by Seminar on  Warehouse Mangement in India.

A PRACTICAL Workshop was conducted on Warehouse Management System, where students got hands on experience on the system and learned processes like Inbound ,Outbound , Cycle count and Stock Transfer

This must have definitely given the students a practical insight into the process of warehousing.

Supply Chain Professionals learn to love Cloud !!

Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals-CSCMP, Mumbai Chapter invited WebXpress team was invited to share their vision for Cloud Computing for Supply Chain Industry.

The session was highly interactive and WebXpress CEO Apurva Mankad shared many practical application with a galaxy of Supply Chain pros.

The gathering discussed:

1) How CLOUD based Logistics solutions can help Industry.
2) How E-commerce Supply Chain is different

The conclusion was that Cloud Computing was here to stay and Supply Chains will benefit greatly benefit from adopting the same.
